This week students will continue practicing basic conversations. They will synthesize everything they have learned and create an original dialogue to present to the class. Half-way through the week students will begin learning numbers in Spanish 0-100. They will be able to say and interpret phone numbers in Spanish and by the end of the week they will start to learn how to tell time in Spanish.

This week students will continue working on vocabulary and structures to have basic introductory conversations in Spanish. By the end of the week your student will be able to do the following in Spanish:
-greet a classmate/friend -introduce himself/herself -Ask how someone is and respond -Say it is nice to meet someone -Say good-bye in a variety of ways. 25 enero- no school, snow day! 26 enero: study for quiz on rules tomorrow (delayed from the snow) 27 enero: [QUIZ today] no homework 28 enero: no homework [2nd period- get your report cards signed!] 29 enero: no homework 30 enero: no homework This is the first week of the new semester! Day 1 will be dedicated to going over rules and expectations. On Friday students will have a true/false quiz on the classroom rules. By the end of the week students should be able to introduce themselves in Spanish and greet one another.
20 enero: Get Parent letter signed 21 enero: study for quiz tomorrow on rules 22 enero: [QUIZ today], no homework LAST WEEK OF THE SEMESTER! Students will wrap our final project this week, in which students each researched a different Spanish speaking country. After completing the project on Tuesday, students will present their projects to their classmates.
11 enero: Finish any research, if not finished in class 12 enero: Finish Google Slides project if not in class. Also, finish any work that is not turned in- all work due tomorrow 13 enero: [All work due today], no homework 14 enero: nada 15 enero: nada Thank you for being in Spanish this semester and good luck in the future! |
