This week students are starting the final unit for the Beginning Spanish course. It is chapter 2A. This unit covers school classes, students schedules, and giving opinions on classes and school. By the end of the unit students should be able to write a multiple paragraph essay about their classes in addition to developed skills in the other areas of language- listening, speaking, and reading. By the end of this week student should be able to recongnize the names of classes in Spanish and should be able to briefly describe when they have classes and their opinion of the class.

23 nov: Finish study guide and study (test tomorrow)
24 nov: [TEST today], no homework Have a nice and restful break. This week students will be starting off with a project where they must describe a famous person in paragraph form. (All instructions and links are on the home page). This [rpject should demonstrate students mastery of vocabulary and certain grammar topics of this chapter. Wednesday through Friday students will wrap up the chapter with some summative and synthesizing activities, such writing poems and performing dialogues.

Also start preparing for test next Tuesday! 20 nov: Start preparing for test on Tuesday! This week students will continue learning, studying, and applying what they have learned from Chapter 1B covering personality traits. BY the end of this week students should be able to talk and write about themselves and others in terms of personality and interests.

Then students will beging the chapter, Chapter 1B which covers and discuss personality traits. By the end of the week, students should be able to ask and answer basic questions about their personality and others' personalities in both written and spoken form.
